AFSPC honors command's best Airmen
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Senior Master Sgt. Michael Garrou leads a column of Air Force Space Command's finest Airmen during a recognition ceremony for AFSPC's Outstanding Airmen of the Year nominees here Monday. The 341st Civil Engineer Squadron Engineering Flight superintendent, from Malmstrom AFB, Mont., is one of 19 nominees in four categories. (Left, Above) Lt. Gen. In a ceremony held today in the shadow of the Minuteman I Intercontinental Ballistic Missile outside USSTRATCOM Headquarters, Major General Thomas Deppe, commander Twentieth Air Force and STRATCOM Task Force 214 activated the 625th Strategic Operations Squadron. The 625th is a tenant unit on Offutt AFB and reports directly to 20 AF, located at Frances E. Warren AFB in Wyoming.
