You have been there on good days and on bad days, through peace and war, on week days and Christmas nights, at 2 am, leaning forward at your consoles, alone to contemplate the meaning of the holidays while your crew partner sleeps the deep sleep.
Keep eachother company on HVC and keep those Christmas stories and greetings passing to and fro between the wings via SACCS.
We may not all be able to agree on the proper way to pronounce SLFCS, but you are brothers and sisters in the profession of arms making personal sacrifices every day that most Americans outside our community will never have to know about.
You are the wrath and fury of the Republic and because you are on alert we will enjoy another holiday season in peace.
On behalf of the staff and families of The Mercenary Missileer I would like to extend a warm Merry Christmas to the men and women who defend, and those who have defended, our nation by performing strategic nuclear alert and those that support those alerts.
