The first Modified Operational Missiles (MOMs) test, designated GIANT PROFIT, took place at the 321st Missile Wing, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. The tests were designed to exercise all procedures involved in the launch of a Minuteman ICBM short of actual missile ignition.
